We conducted a seminar at Homann Karate Center in Crown Point, IN. Brett Homann and his wife Kimmy were gracious host. We worked on all aspects of the Soryu Karate-Do Kihon Kokyu Ho Basic Breathing Exercise.

Sensei Jay Overly and a couple of his students traveled here from Topeka, KS to participate in special Kobu-Do training. We concentrated on the Nunchaku and Sai.
Aron Caldwell and Alex Ulrich are preparing to go to Ohio for a regional Ju-Jutsu tournament with the United States Ju-Jitsu Organization.

Ju-Jutsu
A comprehensive study in traditional Japanese Ju-Jutsu by qualified/certified instructors in the style of Bai Shin Ryu is offered at the Shin Ryu Kan. Bai Shin Ryu was inspired by Kiro Nagayama a.k.a. Michio Koyasu, influenced by Yoriyuki Yasuzato and mentored by George E. Anderson. Bai Shin Ryu is primarily the Nagayama Family Jujutsu bearing their name. A comprehensive study in traditional Okinawan Kobu-Do by qualified/certified instructors in the Matayoshi style is offered at the Shin Ryu Kan. The Okinawan Kobu-Do offered is under the auspices of the International Okinawa Kobu-Do Association which is headed by Saiko Shihan Mikio Nishiuchi.
